Reduction
Experience the freedom of smooth, hair-free skin with advanced laser technology that safely and permanently reduces unwanted hair on every skin type.
Light That Liberates You
Laser hair reduction uses the principle of selective photothermolysis — targeted light energy is absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair follicle, generating heat that damages the follicle and inhibits future hair growth without affecting the surrounding skin tissue.
Our clinic utilises state-of-the-art diode and Nd:YAG laser systems, which are safe and effective across all skin phototypes — including darker Indian skin tones (Fitzpatrick III–VI). The technology has been rigorously tested and approved by international dermatological standards boards.
Unlike traditional hair removal methods such as waxing, threading, or shaving that offer only temporary relief, laser hair reduction targets the root of the problem — the follicle itself — delivering a long-lasting and often permanent reduction in hair growth after a course of sessions.
Freedom Everywhere
Laser hair reduction can be safely performed on virtually any part of the body where unwanted hair is a concern. Popular treatment areas include the full face (upper lip, chin, cheeks, sideburns), underarms, arms, legs, bikini line, Brazilian area, back, chest, and stomach.
Each area is assessed individually — hair thickness, follicle depth, skin tone, and growth cycle activity are all factored into a customised energy parameter setting that maximises efficacy while maintaining complete safety. Sensitive areas are treated with extra care and appropriate cooling protocols.
Full-body packages and combination area packages are available, making it easy and cost-effective to treat multiple zones simultaneously as part of a comprehensive hair removal programme.
The Laser Hair Reduction Process
01
A detailed assessment of your skin type, hair colour, density, and treatment area is conducted. Fitzpatrick skin typing ensures the safest laser parameters are selected for your unique profile.
02
A mandatory patch test is performed 48 hours prior to your first session on a small skin area. This confirms your skin’s response to the laser energy and validates the chosen settings are safe and effective.
03
The treatment area is shaved (not waxed) 24 hours before your session. The skin is thoroughly cleansed, and protective eyewear is provided. A cooling gel may be applied to the skin surface.
04
The laser handpiece is passed over the treatment area, emitting controlled pulses of light energy. Built-in dynamic cooling systems ensure skin surface comfort throughout. Session duration varies by area size.
05
A soothing gel or cool pack is applied post-treatment. Mild redness resembling a light sunburn may appear for a few hours. SPF 50+ sunscreen and avoidance of heat exposure are strongly recommended.
06
Sessions are spaced 4–8 weeks apart to align with hair growth cycles. Only hair in the active anagen (growth) phase responds to treatment — multiple sessions ensure all follicles are targeted.
Benefits of Laser Hair Reduction
Laser energy precisely targets dark, coarse hair while leaving the surrounding skin completely unharmed — even in sensitive areas like the upper lip, bikini line, and underarms.
The laser pulse treats a large area in a fraction of a second. Small areas like the upper lip take under a minute; larger areas like the legs or back take only 20–30 minutes per session.
After completing your recommended course, most patients achieve 85–95% permanent hair reduction. Any regrowth is significantly finer and lighter than before treatment.
Modern laser systems feature integrated cooling technology and adjustable pulse rates, making sessions significantly more comfortable than traditional hair removal methods.
Our advanced Nd:YAG and diode laser platforms are specifically calibrated for darker skin tones (Indian, South Asian, Mediterranean), ensuring safe and effective results for all patients.
When compared to a lifetime of waxing, threading, epilating, or shaving, laser hair reduction is a more economical choice — saving both time and money in the long run.
Is Laser Hair Reduction Right for You?
- Individuals with dark, coarse hair and light to medium skin tones
- Patients with darker skin tones (Nd:YAG laser is specifically safe for you)
- Anyone seeking a permanent solution to unwanted facial or body hair
- Women with hormonal hair growth (chin, upper lip, jawline)
- Those suffering from ingrown hairs, razor bumps, or folliculitis
- Patients wanting to eliminate the need for regular waxing or shaving
- Men seeking permanent chest, back, or beard line reduction
- Very light (blonde, grey, white) or fine vellus hair responds poorly to laser energy
- Active skin infections, open wounds, or herpes outbreaks in the treatment area must be resolved first
- Pregnant patients should defer treatment until after delivery
- Recent tan or sun-exposed skin increases risk — sun avoidance is essential pre-treatment
- Certain photosensitising medications (antibiotics, retinoids) may need to be paused
- Patients on hormone therapy may require additional sessions due to continued stimulus
